MIW opens applications for second Digital Sales Mentorship Program

Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio says applications are now open for the second edition of its Digital Sales Mentorship Program. The nonprofit organization focuses on advancing female leadership in radio broadcasting and describes the initiative as a year-long development opportunity for women working in digital radio sales in the United States.

According to MIW, the program will select one applicant with at least three years of sales experience for a structured mentorship that includes monthly one-on-one coaching with an industry leader. The organization says the curriculum covers digital marketing and analytics, streaming audio and podcasting, digital video and cross-platform integration, social media strategy, third-party vendor partnerships, client needs analysis and ROI measurement, approaches to overcoming client objections and guidance on career development within sales leadership.

“This Digital Sales Mentorship Program is all about helping women step confidently into the future of radio,” said Sheila Kirby, MIW board president. She said the goal is to support the next generation of female leaders who are shaping how audio connects with audiences and delivers measurable results.

MIW says the program is open to women currently working in radio or digital media sales in the United States, and applications will be accepted through Dec. 12, 2025.
