Mexico’s Multimedios selects Super Hi-Fi

AI-powered radio specialist Super Hi-Fi has announced that Multimedios, the radio division of Grupo Multimedios that operates 60 radio stations in northern and central Mexico, has selected Super Hi-Fi’s Program Director radio platform to power its ongoing online and broadcast expansion plans. Super Hi-Fi says this will allow Multimedios to design, build, produce and deliver high-quality music-based radio stations at a fraction of the time and cost compared to legacy tools and methods.

“We’re always looking for ways to improve how we operate our business, particularly around growth and opportunity,” said Enrique Calderon Gaona, CTO of Multimedios. “Super Hi-Fi’s Program Director radio OS and AI-powered production technology is clearly the right platform for our future plans around innovation and efficiency. We are tremendously excited about this partnership.”

Multimedios will start by powering some of its online and FM radio stations using Super Hi-Fi’s AI-powered scheduling, automation, and rotation tools, as well as its modern playlisting and music data solutions. It will use Super Hi-Fi’s Magic Stitch and Conductor technologies for each station’s daily content selection, assembly, and production.

“Our mission is to change the paradigm for radio as we know it, one customer at a time,” said Brendon Cassidy, CTO of Super Hi-Fi. “From radically reducing operational costs for the creation of radio to fundamentally reimagining radio, Super Hi-Fi is designed from the ground up to support this vision of the future. We are thrilled to bring enterprise value and forward thinking to our newest customer, Multimedios.”
