Lawo appoints Jamie Dunn as CEO

Lawo has appointed Jamie Dunn as chief executive officer. Dunn joined the company in 2011 and has served on the company’s Vorstand (executive management board) and as deputy CEO since 2024.

Dunn said, “Lawo’s strength has always been rooted in its people, its partnerships, its values and its commitment to innovation. I am honored to lead the next chapter of success for this remarkable company. These are exciting times — and there are huge opportunities ahead for our company.”

As part of the transition, Philipp Lawo is stepping down from the Vorstand of Lawo AG and will join the company’s supervisory board. Lawo says the move reflects its intention to strengthen corporate compliance by more clearly separating management and oversight functions.

The company says its management team now includes Dunn as CEO and board member, Claus Gärtner as CFO and board member, Andreas Hilmer as CMO, Christian Lukic as CSCO, Phil Myers as CTO and Ulrich Schnabl as COO.

Maintaining family values

Michael Sonnabend, chairman of the supervisory board, said, “These changes reaffirm our confidence in Lawo’s proven management structure and the strong collaboration within the Management Team. This transition ensures the company’s continued stability as we look to the future.”

Sonnabend added that the management team “has consistently demonstrated its ability to define, execute and deliver on the company’s long-term strategy.”

Lawo says that with his move to the supervisory board, Philipp Lawo will continue to support the company’s development and to maintain the values of the Lawo family within its culture. As the sole member of the executive board of Lawo Holding AG, he will oversee the strategic direction of the Lawo Group.

“Our goal is to ensure that Lawo continues to build on its strong foundations while pursuing a sustainable and robust growth model,” Sonnabend said. “The Supervisory Board has full trust in Jamie Dunn and the entire Management Team. With their collective expertise and dedication, Lawo is ideally positioned for the next chapter of its journey.”
