Inovonics Unveils FM/HD Processor With Network Interface

Inovonics has unveiled the DAVID IV 719N FM/HD audio processor with integrated network interface.

The company says the network interface was designed to simplify web access for setup, control, and provide increased networking capabilities for the DAVID IV 719 processor. Now obtainable with the 719N FM/HD processor, the interface is available at no price increase for the new 719N processor model.

“Adding the network interface to our 719 processor provides two very important features,” said Inovonics President and CEO, Ben Barber. “Firstly, the web GUI can be controlled from any web enabled device. Secondly, adding SNMP facilitates remote management and control.”

Inovonics originally launched the David IV 719 DAVID processor in 2011 as a continuation of the DAVID product line, which it says offers “quality and performance in an all-digital DSP-based design.” The New DAVID IV 719N model expands this reach further by adding a menu-driven web interface for remote setup, monitoring and control.

As part of the upgrade program, the company is providing free upgrades to 719 users who purchased the processors between Jan. 1, 2020 and May 2021 (transport not included). For users who purchased the 719 processors before 2020, the company will offer a $500 (about €415) upgrade fee in addition to transport to convert their 719 units to the new 719N model.
