IET’s “Future of Radio Platforms” Webinar is July 15

The Institution of Engineering and Technology is presenting a free “Future of Radio Platforms” webinar on July 15 at 3:30 p.m. BST (4:30 p.m. CET). 

The webinar is supported by Radio TechCon and is part of a series of events commemorating the IET’s 150th anniversary. 

Hosted by Aradhna Tayal, director at Radio TechCon, the online event will include panelists Michael Hill from Radioplayer, Nicky Birch from BBC Sounds and Quentin Howard, former president of WorldDAB.

The panelists will address the growth of new audio formats and technologies. They will also discuss how radio broadcasters can adapt to an environment with increasing global Internet-based platforms. Additional topics include hybrid formats, personal assistants and in-car entertainment systems.
