Dielectric issues statement on passing of Andy Whiteside

Dielectic has issued a statement on the passing of Andy Whiteside, a former president of the company. Whiteside died April 30 in a climbing accident at Independence Monument in the Colorado National Monument National Park. He was 67.

The statement reads:

“We at Dielectric are heartbroken at the tragic sudden loss of our friend and colleague Andy Whiteside. His leadership at Dielectric as President since 2013 will be felt for decades to come. He guided Dielectric through its most challenging business era, restoring the company’s success and distinction while shaping its vision as an industry-leading brand.

“Andy was far more than our leader. He was a witty and charismatic friend. Most importantly, he was a loving husband and father to his wife Patricia and son Griffin. With retirement months away, he had a lot of life to live and much left to give.

“Andy led us through Dielectric’s best years. When you stack up the accomplishments of the company’s presidents over 80 years, Andy’s clearly stand head and shoulders above all,” said Keith Pelletier, president of Dielectric. “When I reminisce about Andy, I will always go back to NAB 2022. He was in such a great place regarding his professional career and retirement and being able to spend more time with family. I will miss my daily talks with him.”

“We are all vastly better people for having Andy in our lives, and he will forever be missed, remembered and celebrated.”
