Professional real-time communications solutions and services provider Clear-Com has promoted John Ruest to regional sales manager for the Nordics (Denmark, Sweden and Norway) and Central Eastern Europe (Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic).
Ruest has been a pre-sales systems consultant for the EMEA team since 2017, when he moved from the applications engineering group. Before that, he was an applications engineer for PixelPower.
Clear-Com says the promotion is a natural fit since Ruest has existing relationships with major Clear-Com accounts in the region, including TV2, SVT, Czech TV and RTVS.
“I am delighted that John has progressed to regional sales manager,” commented Nicki Fisher, Clear-Com’s director of sales for EMEA. “He has an excellent understanding and hands-on approach to assisting and supporting his channel partners in all market applications.
“I am excited about being able to provide the best possible support for my channel partners in this role and believe that my prior experience with Clear-Com will greatly aid me in my ability to be effective as an RSM in the Nordics and CCE,” added Ruest.
