IABM has appointed Christine Losecaat as independent non-executive director of the association.

According to the organization, Losecaat will provide “independent oversight and strategic guidance to the executive directors and IABM Members’ Board to help maximize their effectiveness and identify new opportunities for the Association and its membership.”

Losecaat is a senior business strategy, marketing and communications specialist. IABM explains that her commercial background is firmly rooted in the creative industries with in-depth experience across many subsectors at senior executive level from advertising to music, children’s animation to design. She is CEO of specialist consultancy, Little Dipper, a company that conceives and delivers international strategies, initiatives, programs and events in the public and private sector.

Losecaat is also an Emmy award winning producer, a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts, an Honorary Fellow of the British Institute of Interior Design and in 2016 she became a member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) for services to the creative industries in the U.K.

“I am really excited to be working with IABM,” said Christine Losecaat. “As we continue into the ‘new normal’ globally, demand for technology will continue to rise. This, together with new ways of producing and consuming content and new means of digitally managing our lives at home and at work, will inevitably lead to opportunities in other verticals and adjacent sectors for the membership.”
