Calrec Argo M with True Control 2.0 on the screens

Console maker Calrec will be showing at the NAB New York show the latest iteration of its True Control console remote control system along with its Argo control surface family and Type R console.

True Control 2.0 has the power, a release, explained, “to control any Calrec system from any location, it unlocks access to more cores, more faders, more surfaces, and more flexibility so broadcasters can adapt instantly to changing production demands.”

It added, “Available across Argo Q, Argo S, Argo M, Type R, the ImPulse and ImPulse1 cores, and the cloud-based ImPulseV audio mixing solution, True Control 2.0 creates an interconnected ecosystem where any enabled device can control another. With Apollo+ and Artemis+ also joining the platform, broadcasters can achieve new levels of adaptability, efficiency, and creative freedom.”

Also on display will be the Argo M, the compact member of the line. It can handle ST 2110 video along with 7.1.4 audio configurations. New Argo software V1.4 will be powering the Argoes.

For radio attendees the Type R will also be at the booth.
