Angry Audio releases USB Analog Audio Gizmo

Angry Audio has released its USB Analog Audio Gizmo to help eliminate the frustrating high-pitched whining noise that can emerge when using computer audio.

That noise is a symptom of a ground loop between the computer and audio equipment via the sound card.

Angry Audio says it realized the most effective way to eliminate all noise sources was to fully isolate the audio side from the computer side. It has therefore engineered the USB Analog Audio Gizmo so that the power, ground and data lines between the computer and audio circuitry are all galvanically isolated, essentially bypassing the possibility of a ground loop.

The USB Analog Audio Gizmo is powered by the computer’s USB port, thereby eliminating any extraneous sources of interference, and because it’s a class-compliant device, it doesn’t need any special drivers.
