AEQ Forum at heart of Constantí Ràdio

Constantí Ràdio was born as a local communication project at the initiative of the Town Council of Constantí in Catalonia, Spain, in 1999, to coincide with the town’s festival. Since then, Constantí Ràdio, a member of Spain’s Local Communication Network, has embraced its essential premise: to serve the area’s citizens and oversee what happens in the municipality. It does this through information, entertainment and participation — promoting local and regional news, encouraging citizen participation, and monitoring various municipality entities and associations. The station broadcasts on 97.9FM.

During the last renewal of the main broadcasting studio, the technical management of Radio Constatí chose the AEQ Forum digital console as the heart of the studio due to its robustness, ease of operation and modular design. It incorporates all the essential features necessary for community stations such as Constantí Ràdio: automatic monitor cut, cough cut, fader start and signaling control.

It can also incorporate AoIP multichannel input and output cards compatible with the new AES67 protocol through DANTE technology.
