Acast partners with Podcastle to offer recording, editing services

Podcast hosting and monetization company Acast is giving its podcasters access to recording and editing software for the first time through a new partnership with Podcastle.

Podcastle is an all-in-one solution for podcast production, with all the tools creators need to record and edit their shows in studio-grade quality. Acast podcasters can now get free access right from their web browser simply by clicking through from the ‘episode creation’ page of their Acast dashboard.

Jenny Abonde, product manager at Acast, said, “This is the first time we’ve ever offered an audio recording and editing option to our podcasters, so we needed a partner that would deliver a reliable, world-class service. Thanks to our partnership with Podcastle, every Acast creator now has access to studio-quality software, completely free of charge.”

Arto Yeritsyan, CEO a founder of Podcastle, said, “We’re enabling a seamless all-in-one solution for podcasters with this partnership. Combining Podcastle’s powerful suite of intuitive recording and editing tools with Acast’s vast distribution and monetization platform, podcasters now truly have a one-stop-shop for their broadcast storytelling needs.”

Recording and editing features

The initial phase of the partnership gives Acast podcasters access to the following Podcastle features:

  • Multitrack recording: This allows users to record remote interviews in studio quality with local recordings of each track, up to 4K video and lossless WAV audio for every participant — no fancy equipment is required. Podcastle’s web-based platform then lets users download the entire uncompressed file moments after the recording is finished.
  • Unlimited editing and mixing: Easy-to-use tools like auto-leveling, trimming, fade in and out, and a library of license-free music and sounds, which will help make editing a breeze.
  • Advanced audio processing: Professional sound engineering with “Magic Dust,” which automatically enhances content to give it that professional studio touch, along with AI-powered echo and noise cancellation and silence removal.

Once a podcaster has perfected their recording, they can then seamlessly upload it to Acast for instant distribution to listeners worldwide.
