Acast Forms Alliance With Leading Hispanic Content Platform

Acast has formed a commercial alliance with Dudas Media, producer of the award-winning podcast Se Regalan Dudas and a leading Hispanic multi-platform content community. Through its infrastructure, Acast will provide Dudas Media with a range of monetization opportunities and the necessary tools to grow its global presence. Acast says this step represents a significant expansion of its Spanish-language content catalog and reaffirms its commitment to engaging with key content creators across the globe.

Dudas Media says it has become a reference for the Millennial and Gen Z generations because it offers a safe space to hold conversations and reflect on mental health and personal growth. Since its premiere in 2018, Se Regalan Dudas has remained at the top of the most-listened-to podcasts in Mexico, the United States, Colombia, Spain, Argentina, Costa Rica, Peru, the Dominican Republic and Chile, with more than 40 million downloads since its launch.

Its success has led to high-profile recognition, including two awards received at the Spotify Awards 2020 for “The Most Shared Podcast” and “The Most Followed Podcast,” as well as the “Discovery Achievers Award” from the Discovery Channel for its creativity and innovation.

“Although our audience is already global, this alliance with Acast will help us boost our international positioning both within the industry and at a commercial level. It provides us with a sales team specialized in podcasts with a catalog of potential advertisers from all over the world,” said Paulina Herrera, co-founder and executive producer of Dudas Media. “It also gives us the technology for attribution campaigns, and we are excited to be able to offer this solution to our clients. Our partnership with Acast optimizes our inventory and helps us to improve our listener experience.”

“Through Dudas Media, Paulina Herrera, Lety Sahagún and Ashley Frangie [the hosts of Se Regalan Dudas] have not only empowered millions of women across different countries but also catapulted the podcast industry in Hispanic America to another level,” says Sergio Domínguez, managing director for Acast Mexico. “To integrate the highest quality content created by and for women is something we always look to champion, and this alliance will allow us to continue to support women in the podcasting industry on an international scale.”
