Acast has announced a new partnership with podcast and creator database Podchaser. All 31,000 Acast-hosted podcasts will now automatically sync with Podchaser. Instead of gathering cover art, show descriptions and hosting details for these podcasts from submitted RSS feeds, Podchaser will now get this information directly from Acast, thereby ensuring all the shows are accurately represented.
Podchaser has been called “the IMDB of podcasts” and offers rating and reviews, creator and guest credits and user-curated playlists.
This new partnership boosts discoverability for Acast podcasters, helping them grow their audiences and find new listeners. Podcasters can now receive feedback on their shows directly from listeners and engage with them through Podchaser’s community tools.
