Beasley Media Group’s Boston-based sports station 98.5 The Sports Hub says it will deliver full Super Bowl week coverage as the New England Patriots prepare to face the Seattle Seahawks in the NFL championship game. This year’s Super Bowl will be played on Sunday, Feb. 8, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, in the San Francisco Bay Area.
According to Beasley Media Group, 98.5 The Sports Hub, the Patriots’ flagship radio station, will originate its coverage from Radio Row in San Francisco and will provide what it describes as the local Boston call of the game.
Programming is scheduled to run from Monday, Feb. 2, through Super Bowl Sunday. Beasley Media Group says weekday coverage from Radio Row will include “Zolak & Bertrand” from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. ET and “Felger & Mazz” from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. ET, followed by a daily “Big Game Preview” show from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET, hosted by Joe Murray with Alex Barth reporting from San Francisco. The station says the preview program will stream live on its YouTube channel.
Additional plans include live coverage from Media Night in San Jose and a Patriots fan event on Saturday featuring a live “Felger & Mazz” broadcast.
On Super Bowl Sunday, 98.5 The Sports Hub says it will air a three-hour pre-game show, halftime analysis and a live post-game show, alongside game commentary featuring Bob Socci and Scott Zolak.
