Wheatstone is adding a new member to the Audioarts brand AML console line. Joining the AML-8 is a 12-channel model, AML-12.
The AML console line features 100 mm faders, the company’s Super-Quiet mic preamps and USB port along with a slightly unusual separate power supply. Mot of the I/O is via RJ-45 connectors though Phoenix hardwired connectors are used for microphone-dedicated Channels 1–4. There is also a dedicated caller channel. Of course there is the traditional Wheatstone sweeping LED meter bridge.
In an unusual move, Wheatstone announced pricing, “under US$3,500.”
