Telos to demo live production over AWS at NAB Show

Telos Alliance, Amazon Web Services, AWS

The Telos Alliance will be demonstrating the flexibility of its products by using Amazon Web Services for a live production during the NAB Show.

According to a release there will be a four-person news desk in the lobby of the West Hall which will be working with a control room at AWS’ booth inside the West Hall. Content will be routed to a master control at an AWS facility in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., for worldwide streaming. There will also be reporters roaming the show to add content.

A cloud-based Telos Infinity VIP intercom system will supply the back channel communications with the aid of a Telos Axia iQx AoIP digital console collecting and distributing the stations and more. An Axia Altus soft console based in the AWS cloud will handle audio duties for the show itself.

Telos Alliance CEO Scott Stiefel said, “We’re excited to collaborate with AWS to provide state-of-the-art audio and communication solutions for the Live Cloud Production showcase at NAB Show. Industry leaders tell us that virtualized live production tools are already transforming broadcast workflows; what we’ve seen so far is just the tip of the iceberg.”

The main Telos Alliance booth is in the Central Hall at Booth C1808.
