We live in an age of technological wealth and production tools that not long ago previously would have been considered magical.
At the IBC show the Telos Alliance’s Minnetonka Audio group will debut AudioTools Server Version 7. The new version includes “new AI/machine-learning modules that include language detection, dialog intelligibility, and a powerful new tool, AudioTools Source Separation by AudioShake.”
It explains, “This new subscription module can extract dialog, music, and effects from finished program audio to give broadcasters, studios, streaming providers, and content owners new ways to work with existing material when original multitrack sessions are unavailable or incomplete.”
The TA’s Junger Audio is introducing flexAI CastCompanion for live broadcasts. It “combines automixing, AI-assisted denoising, voice enhancement, and loudness management to create consistent, intelligible mixes without an operator constantly riding levels.”
The release provides details, “JAIC [Junger Audio Intelligent Companion] analyzes the incoming audio and helps optimize parameters, while Junger’s deterministic algorithms handle the actual processing, delivering predictable latency and broadcast reliability.”
CastCompanion also plays nice with 12G-SDI and NDI.
