London-sited radio industry show Radio TechCon is prepping its 2023 edition, Nov. 23, at IET London: Savoy Place.
According to show organizers TBC Media explain, “Radio TechCon is aimed at people with a hands-on interest of technology in radio and audio. All are welcome, from engineers to producers and those working in related industries.”
Sessions being teased cover “Going behind-the-scenes at the Coronation broadcast, learning the secrets of Eurovision and discovering how to create a secure network so that hackers can’t take over your transmission.”
TBC Media’s Ann Charles said, “We’re so excited to be back at the IET and are looking forward to welcoming anyone with a love of audio and technology to our event.” She added, “Radio TechCon is run in order to bring the engineering community together and if you love radio, podcasting or online streaming, you’ll definitely find something to enjoy.”
Tickets have gone on sale. Discounts are available for members of The Radio Academy, Community Media Association, Student Radio Association, Sound Women Network, Hospital Broadcasting Association, AudioUK and the IET (Institution of Engineering and Technology).
