On the inaugural day of Radio Week, RedTech Tribe awarded the first of six Top Product Awards to On-Hertz’ Nubo.

On-Hertz is a virtual audio specialist for the broadcast and media industries. The company recently launched Nubo, an all-in-one cloud-based radio production studio available as a subscription service.

Nubo is designed to bring a fully integrated live radio studio to the fingertips of broadcasters no matter where they are located. Users only need a mic and a web browser to sign in and get on air.

The system offers reliable and secure connections and frees operators from unsecured, hard-to-expand remote desktop connections, says On-Hertz. It’s also scalable, so suitable for both large and small organizations.

Nubo integrates with existing workflows and is compatible with most automation software on the market. In addition, thanks to its on-board AoIP capabilities, users can import playlists directly into the system.

“It’s a complete virtual studio in the cloud not only from the perspective of contribution but all around,” said On-Hertz co-founder and CEO Benjamin Lardinoit. “It responds perfectly to our current scenario and the need to work remotely from home, not only for presenters and journalists but also for technical teams. It provides a future-proof solution as the broadcasting industry continues to migrate toward decentralized operations, while maintaining quality.”

The company is also planning an upcoming release of the On-Hertz Hub. The Hub works in association with Nubo and other On-Hertz products. It will check user credentials, provision resources, manage any required admin or planning tasks and ensure that Nubo stays on par with the rest of their organization.
