Inovonics bringing Aaron 656 receiver to BroadcastAsia

Inovonics, rebroadcast receiver, NAB Show 2026, HD Radio

The BroadcastAsia show is approaching, May 20–22, in Singapore. Inovonics will be there with their Aaron 656 FM/HD Radio Rebroadcast Receiver.

It is a software-defined radio, no tubes. And it receives HD Radio (and the subchannels). There are two antenna inputs along with AES digital and streaming program inputs as well. In addition there is an onboard band scanner.

It offers up to 4 GB of memory for playback. The old rebroadcast receivers never did anything like that. An RDS/RBDS encoding stage is also included.

Maximum-Ratio Combining technology is used for clearing up signals, according to Inovonics.

Onboard is a five-band processor with a four-band parametric EQ, compressor, high-pass filter, phase rotator, limiter, automatic gain controller, stereo enhancer, etc., the usual tuner tools.

Plus a package of alarms can notify stations of problems.

And, of course, there’s remote control via the web.

Inovonics will be in Hall 5, Booth 5C2-14.
