GatesAir to show new GX TXes at NAB Show

GatesAir, FM transmitters,

Where else on the planet would one expect to see new radio broadcast transmitters displayed?

GatesAir won’t disappoint in that quest at the upcoming NAB Show, April 14–17 in Las Vegas.

Expect to see new Flexiva FM models in the 50 W (GX50), 1 kW (GX1K), 2 kW (GX2K) and 3 kW (GX3K) power ratings.

GatesAir Vice President, Product Line Management, Ted Lantz said, “GatesAir has carefully engineered all six [Flexiva] GX transmitters to maintain the highest possible overall efficiency even at the lower power levels.”

In addition, the entire line has enhanced its GUI “including integrated audio playback and a supporting playlist manager,” and “options include GPS receivers for SFN support and GatesAir’s Intraplex IP Link 100e (IPL-100e) module.” The Intraplex IP Link makes possible IP audio and data communication between the transmitter and the studio along with 10-band audio processing.

According to a release, GatesAir will also demonstrate low-power Flexiva FAX air-cooled transmitters and its FMXi 4g all-in-one embedded HD Radio solution.

GatesAir will be at Booth W2730.
