The Beat 102-103 Beast joins Bauer Media Group

Bauer Media Group, owner of radio stations in Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Sweden and the U.K. has announced a deal to acquire Beat 102-103 airing in southeastern Ireland.

Bauer Media Group President of Audio Vivian Mohr said, “Beat 102-103 established itself thanks to the great work they’ve undertaken in the market, producing relevant content that its key demographics enjoy, and offering one of the most powerful advertising mediums in the region.”

According to the announcement from Bauer, “Beat 102-103 is the most-listened to radio station among the 15–34 age group in Carlow, Kilkenny, Waterford, Wexford and South Tipperary…”

Beat 102-103 will be added to Bauer’s current Irish properties, Today FM, Newstalk, Red FM and iRadio and with the GoLoud podcast network and audioXi, a digital audio advertising exchange.
