Azam TV, an eastern Africa regional direct broadcast satellite TV service based in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, has upgraded one of its OB trucks to keep up with advances in media technology.
Lawo had a hand on the audio section. Integrator Broadcast Solutions provided the hands on installation.
According to a release, “At the core of the installation is Lawo Home, the management platform that brings the entire IP infrastructure together. Automatically discovering and managing connected resources, Home unifies an mc²36 MkII console, an A__stage80, A__stage48 stageboxes, and an A__digital64 audio-over-IP gateway, as well as third-party devices within a single operational environment, simplifying deployment and day-to-day operation while ensuring seamless interoperability across SMPTE ST 2110, AES67 and Ravenna networks.”
Azam TV’s Raghvendra Tiwari said, “The installation of the Lawo mc²36 audio console marks a significant milestone in Azam TV’s broadcast infrastructure. It provides a future-ready foundation for IP-based live audio production workflows, delivering greater operational efficiency, enhanced reliability, and the flexibility needed to meet the evolving demands of the broadcast industry.”
