United Kingdom-based FM transmitter maker Aqua Broadcast has announced an audio equipment development and manufacturing partnership with David Reaves Audio.
Reaves is a former broadcast engineer, once chief engineer of WHTZ/Z100 in New York, and also developer of the Ariane Stereo Audio Leveler.
Also involved is Reaves’ business partner, broadcast audio veteran Rich Redmond. Redmond is known in the broadcast industry with stints at Harris and GatesAir. He currently is president and chief operating officer for Broadcast Electronics.
Reaves said, “My goal has always been to create audio processors that respect the integrity of the original sound. The Ariane Stereo Audio Leveler, the first processor I designed, was a huge milestone for me, and I’m excited to bring fresh ideas and innovations to the industry with the help of Rich Redmond and Aqua Broadcast.”
Redmond said, “We’re excited to work with Aqua Broadcast, whose manufacturing expertise and commitment to excellence will help bring our products to life… This partnership is a natural fit, and we look forward to delivering innovative products that meet the evolving needs of the broadcast and audio industries.”
The announcement added that Aqua Broadcast will “will work closely with David Reaves Audio, LLC to ensure that the products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. The collaboration is expected to lead to the release of several new products over the coming months, all reflecting David Reaves’ commitment to audio purity and precision.”
