Print Friendly, PDF & Email

A new content track at NAB Show New York will take a focused look at how artificial intelligence is reshaping journalism. Scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 22, “The Future of Journalism” will explore AI’s growing role in news gathering, production and distribution — as well as its implications for trust and credibility.

According to the National Association of Broadcasters, the program will bring together industry experts, including Axios Media Correspondent Sara Fischer, Hearst Television Executive Vice President Nick Radziul and Status Founder and Author Oliver Darcy, to discuss the challenges and opportunities ahead.

The half-day track runs from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and includes three sessions:

  • “The Future of News: AI, New Revenues and Risks, and the Policy Response”
  • “AI and Automation in News Production: Opportunity, Efficiency, and Ethics”
  • “Trust, Misinformation, and News Credibility: Rebuilding the Public’s Confidence in Journalism”
